LincoSpect-WSP
(Lincomycin +Spectinomycin)
LINCOSPECT-WSP is used for the treatment and prevention of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD), airsacculitis caused by mycoplasma spp. and Complicated Chronic Respiratory Disease (CCRD) associated with mycoplasma and coliform infections of growing birds. For breading flocks suffering from Mycoplasma Gallisepticum (MG) and Mycoplasma Synoviae (MS). Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by micro organisms sensitive to Spectinomycin + Lincomycin and any infection caused by E. coli bacteria
COMPOSITION:
LINCOSPECT-WSP 1000 gm contains of Lincomycin 222 gm and Spectinomycin 445 gm and Excipients 333 gm.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTION:
Prevention of CRD: Administer 150 mg of total antibiotic activity per kg body weight daily for the fist 36 days of life. Administer 50 mg of total antibiotic activity per kg body weight daily for 1-2 days during the fourth week of life or after vaccination.
Treatment of CRD: 50 mg of antibiotic activity per kg body weight per day at the first sians of disease and continue for three to seven days, depending on the severity of the outbreak.
ADMINISTRATION:
LINCOSPECT-WSP Water Soluble Powder is formulated for administration via drinking water. A fresh solution should be prepared each day. LINCOSPECT-WSP Water Soluble Powder is formulated for administration as the sole daily source of drinking water until consumed, followed by non medicated water for the rest of the day, if necessary.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Withdrawal period for LINCOSPECT-WSP is 5 to 7 days. Birds must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. Treated birds must not be slaughtered for human use at least 72 hours.
SAFETY:
This product must not be used in laying period. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid skin contact with the powder or solution. Wash hands and exposed skin after usage. Usage recommends as advised by a Veterinary Consultant.
