Gentasin

(Gentamicin 10%)

Gentasin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic commonly used to treat bacterial infections. It belongs to the aminoglycoside class of antibiotics and is effective against a wide range of bacteria. Each gram of Gentasin contains gentamicin equivalent to 100 mg gentamicin base.

Gentasin available in both Feed Premix Powder & Water Soluble Powder.

BENEFITS:

Gentasin is recommended for the control and treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by micro-organisms sensitive to gentamicin like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Klebsiella, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. in Poultry.

 

DOSAGE AND DIRECTION:

Water Soluble Dosage - To prepare medicated water, mix Gentasin and drinking water according to the following instruction:

For Control and treatment of disease - Add 150-200 gms of Gentasin in 1000 Liters of drinking water. No withdrawal period for Gentasin. Medicated water should be prepare in daily basics and should not be stored or offered in rusty containers since the drug is quickly destroyed in such containers. Gentasin can be use for cleaning of hatchable eggs.

 

Feed Premix Dosage - To prepare medicated premix, mix Gentasin and feed according to the following instruction:

For Control and treatment of disease - Add 150-200 gms of Gentasin in 1000 Kgs of feed. No withdrawal period for Gentasin. Medicated premix should be prepare in daily basics and should not be stored or offered in rusty containers since the drug is quickly destroyed in such containers.

 

ADMINISTRATION:

Gentasin is available in 25Kg Bag. There have been no reported side effects following the recommended use of Gentasin in both Feed Premix & Drinking Water. Best before 24 months from the date of manufacturing. Store in cool dry place and protect from direct sun light. Usage recommends as advised by a Veterinary Consultant.
